‘Autumn in the Perennial border’ (2025)

A$2,400.00

Autumn is my favourite time in the garden. The frenzied pace of Summer production eases into the slow, restful season of replenishment. I love to leave the tall stalks of spent flowerheads bobbing in the garden beds, heavy with seed for the birds to harvest, and drop into the resting ground for next year. Passive gardening is my style. The chickens scratch around as leaves start to build in piles against the corners of the garden, and the unmistakable smell of woodsmoke and moist earth unlocks a wave of annual nostalgia.

Autumn in the perennial border. 91x91cm. Ground earth pigments, madder, copper carbonate and charcoal with Australian hardwood frame.

Price includes Australia wide postage.
