Lucy Hersey

Earth Paintings

 Dear collector

Please enjoy this exclusive collaboration born out of love for the landscape. Bringing together the best of the Gippsland Wine Company, and the work of a local Loch artist Lucy Hersey.

Vigneron Mark Heath spent 40 years’ working across wine sales, marketing and production in Barossa Valley, Clare Valley and Yarra Valley before venturing to Gippsland, settling and establishing Gippsland Wine Company in Loch. Over the past 15 years, the Gippsland Wine Company has grown to become a significant, and award winning winery, most recently being awarded the Westpac award for Best Wine in Gippsland for their 2023 Chardonnay, as well as boasting previous awards for Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling.

Lucy Hersey is a professional artist from Loch. Sustainability, and a connection to nature is central to her practice, as she collects natural materials, ground clays and earth, to make her own earth pigmented paints. The local landscape informs her paintings, and is primarily the subject, from rolling Gippsland hills, and expansive skies, to intimate gullies and secret streams. Lucy has been shortlisted for the Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize, Omnia and Lethbridge Landscape Prizes, and her work and practice has been featured in Channel 9 production ‘Good Chef Hunting’, Country Style Magazine and The Design Files. Lucy is represented by Leighton Contemporary, Noosa.

Expect to find original art, boutique wine and a unique experience.

Arriving for Christmas 2024. Price $500. Limited number of 12 only.
